FAQ's

Our home pack currently consists of Rufian (aka Rufus, RuDog or Rufalin), Rudy and Russo. 

Rufian was a lonely little injured beach dog that moved in with us while we were on vacation. We smuggled him home where he found his place in our then pack of spicy little chihuahuas. Rudy was brought to us by a wonderful man from Southwest Beagle Rescue. He brought her in a stealth mission all the way from Louisiana to southern Florida, determined to save her. She plays coy but she quietly rules the roost around here. Russo was discarded as a puppy and living under a deck at a restaurant. He was terrified of people and very skittish. He is now a playful and loving guy that really loves snuggles!  We have a 9x9 bed so the whole pack can sleep together! We all have different palates and therefore, define hot in different ways. It's our biggest challenge in the kitchen! Knowing the heat level can vary from person to person, we're here to guide you. Should you decide our sauce has a little more kick than you expected, or perhaps your partner likes it hotter than yourself - take a look at our recipes on how to tone it down. 

Each bottle is labeled with a heat scale, and we're happy to provide more details if needed. Remember, our goal is to deliver a flavorful experience that suits your taste buds. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions!

In the event you receive an item that was damaged in any way, please email us at contact@unclechads.com as soon as possible. Include your order number and a photo of the damage. Customer satisfaction is our priority and we want to remedy the situation right away. 

While we are not certified gluten free, we do not add ingredients to our sauce that contain gluten. The only additive used is xanthan gum, a gluten free and vegan additive for thickening, suspending and stabilizing. 

Our sauces are made locally in Sarasota, Florida. 

For the best taste and longest shelf life, we recommend refrigerating our sauces after opening.
